Betel & Paan Leaf Farm

Hawaii Basil Herbs Farm has been growing and selling wholesale betel leaf since 2012. Over this time, we have witnessed the consumption of betel leaf increase substantially.

Betel leaf, also known as paan leaf or piper betle, has become very popular.  A large portion of the Asian population in the United States use betel leaf for ceremonies, chewing, or in food preparation.

Paan leaf has become so popular that it is now our farm’s 3rd highest selling product.  We are currently adding more acres to grow betel leaf to accommodate the high demand.

Packing our Betel Leaf for Shipment from Hawaii

To avoid damaging the leaves during shipping, we pack 10 lbs of betel leaf in each box where each leaf is stacked neatly and loose.
