La Lot Farm in Hawaii
Growing & Distributing Wholesale La Lot
Called La Lot in Hawaii, but in some places it’s called La Lop, Lolot or La Lot Betel Leaf. It is a very easy to grow and care for specialty herb. La Lot products can be used to make some special and very exotic Asian foods, such as wrapping beef, fish and pork.
Hawaii Basil Herbs Farm has been growing wholesale La Lot since 2012. La lot grows well in shaded areas where it is cool and wet. It grows very well under big trees. The leaf sizes are smaller than betel leaf, about 3-4 inches wide and 4 – 5 inches long.
La Lot looks a lot like Betel Leaf though, the only difference is that Lot Lop is not a vine plant, and betel leaf plant is a vine that climbs on trees and walls.
